Ceroc is a partner dance that began in the 1980’s and has steadily grown and is now danced up and down the country and throughout the world. Its popularity is due to how accessible it is to complete beginners, the valuable social aspect of the dance, as well as all the health benefits that dancing brings. The ethos is based on everyone joining in and dancing with each other.
In 2001 Angela Flanagan was taken along by her brother who already had ‘the bug’ for Ceroc. After a time she applied and qualified as a Ceroc teacher. She is looking forward to telling us (and showing us!) at our March meeting all about her passion for the dance and hopes that you will find it as infectious as she does.
