March 2026 Interview with Barbara Nadell, author

Barbara Nadel, award-winning crime author, will be interviewed by member Bryony at our 11 March meeting. She was born in the East End of London and set her Hakim and Arnold series of books there. Her Inspector Ikmen series, recently televised by BBC, is set in the colourful and complex city of Istanbul.

Barbara trained as an actor prior to starting writing and has worked in NHS psychiatric services and remains connected to charities concerned with mental health.
