Dr Emily Burns, a lively and interesting speaker, is an art historian and curator specialising in British and Old Master paintings.
The Watts Gallery in Surrey showcases the life and works of artist couple GF Watts and Mary Seton Watts alongside temporary exhibitions focusing on Victorian and Edwardian art.
Her current exhibition is Victorian Virtual Reality (4 July 2023 to February 2024) and shows photographs from the Brian May Archive of Stereoscopy.
Emily holds a BA from the University of Cambridge and a PhD from the University of Nottingham.
