Chelsea Reid-Johnson is a Senior Zookeeper at London Zoo. After graduating in Animal Science, she worked at Whipsnade Zoo before moving to London Zoo seven years ago. She has had a variety of roles including demonstrations with animals and birds and taking group tours round the zoo. She currently works on the Small Mammals section which includes sloths, squirrel monkeys, lemurs and lots more.
Chelsea will talk to us at our April meeting about the role women have played in the zoo's history and conservation work, as well as her life as a zookeeper and what it's like to get close to wild animals every day.
